Company's History

Minkyansit Company was established in 2003 with a vision to grow across multiple sectors. In 2008, the company expanded into infrastructure by founding Minkyansit Construction Company, followed by the launch of Minkyansit Travel & Tours in 2011 to serve the growing tourism industry. In response to the rising demand for technology solutions, Cherry Net—an IT services and solutions subsidiary—was established in 2024 under the Minkyansit Group. Today, Minkyansit Group of Companies operates successfully in the fields of construction, travel & tourism, and ICT services, continuing its mission to deliver quality, reliability, and innovation across all its business units.

The name "Kyansitmin"

The name “Minkyansit” is inspired by one of Myanmar’s most revered historical kings — King Kyansittha of the Pagan Dynasty. As the successor to King Anawrahta Minsaw (1014–1077), the founder of the First Myanmar Empire, King Kyansittha was instrumental in strengthening the nation and ushering in a period of peace, prosperity, and cultural flourishing. In tribute to his legacy of leadership, unity, and nation-building, the name “Minkyansit” reflects our company’s commitment to enduring values, visionary growth, and service to the community.
